Lumpen: A journal for poor and working class writers is exactly what it sounds like. First hand accounts of lives on the rock face of austerity, critical assessments of the state of the left, the UK, and more.

Issue 18 is packed with some amazing testimonies, from the early years of the Gay Liberation movement or experiences of gay community during the AIDS crisis, to more contemporary accounts of trans resistance in the UK, reflections on lived experience as queer working class people and to top it all off, some excellent fiction. It’s also a very intergenerational issue, with authors’ ages ranging between 14 and 86!
