Saint Abdullah & Jason Nazary are truly hot sh•t. Some words on their latest record... "The acclaimed collaboration between Iranian-Canadian brothers Saint Abdullah (previous releases on Planet Mu, The Trilogy Tapes and Room40) with in-demand jazz drummer Jason Nazary (International Amthe, 4AD, We Jazz) continues on their sophomore album for Disciples, a sequel to the 2023’s Evicted In The Morning. They continue to blend dreamlike collage, snatches of radio, free jazz, Sufi chants and improvisational chops to impressive effect. A Freedom Now Suite for a new era of anti-war marches and state oppression."

Our Beethoven is Elise Macmillan(Emacs) and John Andrew Wilhite. The Norwegian-American violinist and double bassist move freely from their instruments, to electronics, archival material and song when the spirit arises. The music is formed through experimentations with genre, attitude and form. Fragments of traditional melodies and fragile harmonics spin out into new realms. Their self titled record is produced by Ulla Straus and will be released on her label in collaboration with Centralbanken, Oslo.

I am very sorry it says Emacs on the poster instead of Our Beethoven. That is my fault. Blame only me. I am the only one to blame. Me, alone. So very, very alone.

I'm just kidding. Though it is my fault.
