Desert Liminal, Craggyland, >body, Fey Hound

Desert Liminal is an experimental dream pop project lead by songwriter and vocalist Sarah Jane Quillin and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Mallory Linehan. A fixture in the Chicago underground, Desert Liminal's songwriting strength lies in rendering bleak memories into a beautiful and distant landscape. Quillin's performance centers live layered analog synthesizer and vocal loops to form spectral, melodic walls of sound - elevated by Linehan's intuitive violin and vocal harmonies. Themes like hope in desolation, memory, addiction, alienation and recovery amidst the natural beauty of a rural river valley recur in DL's discography.

Craggyland plays with a 12-string guitar, a loop / delay pedal, a messed up super old multieffects pedal with a crazy distortion, they sing, and play with an electric toothbrush, fingernails and a phone screen. Tilly plays alongside field recordings taken in Glasgow, chosen at random on the day of the performance. Tilly loves to accompany the sounds of the street, often writing songs based off melodies or rhythms heard in the field recordings.

>body is a Nigerian-Scottish artist whose sound is a genre blending exploration of emotion and experience. They can be recognised by their electronic trance approach and their soulful vocals. They are known to play around with stripped instrumentals, layered vocals, panning and ambience. Adaora is also known for their dancing as a movement artist who does not shy from embracing sensuality and energy driven movement.

Fey Hound, an Experimental folk project by Sam Watson, conjures mists of deep memory, yearning, and fraying at the edges of the fabric of the thin places. Inspired by the concept of lost and ancient sound, they weave haunted melodies rich with Hiraeth through winding drones and suspended melody, tapping into deep memory and conjuring spirits up out of the ground. Winding captivation like a spool through acoustic drones, mediaeval instruments and vocal techniques, they pull back the veil and invite you inside.
