TCB Art Inc. is one of Naarm/Melbourne's (AUS) longest-running ARIs. Established in 1998 by artists Blair Trethowan, Sharon Goodwin, and Thomas Deverall, TCB was founded to address the need for a non-commercial, not-for-profit exhibition space in Naarm's CBD that could platform emerging artists and experimental practices. For over 28 years, TCB has operated as a volunteer-run, artist-led organisation dedicated to supporting risk-taking, cross-disciplinary and early-career practices. The gallery has presented work by more than 700 artists from Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and internationally, and has provided first solo exhibition opportunities for many practitioners.
