Field Trip: A Sound Map of the River Clyde @Uddingston Viaduct!
Join a Sound Thought Field Trip and help paint an aural portrait of the River Clyde!
On Sunday 11th October, we are hosting a full-day field recording day trip along the Clyde Walkway near Uddingston Viaduct to gather the sounds of the river and nearby acoustic territories. This trip will be a chance to spend some time listening to / thinking about the rivers sonic aspect, and contribute to the wider Sound Map of the River Clyde community project.
A Sound Map of the River Clyde was initiated by Annea Lockwood, and is led by sound artist Action Pyramid (Tom Fisher) and producer Emmie McLuskey.
The trip is kindly supported by Counterflows Festival with travel costs and lunch provided. Spaces are limited and will be allocated by random draw.
