Listening with tea &.. Kate Molleson

Cùrlach invites you to join us for our first in-studio listening session with the wonderful Kate Molleson!

We're excited to have Kate join us to share some of her favourite records, chat about often overlooked artists from the contemporary classical genre, and listen together with cups of tea.

We're big fans of Kate's excellent 'Sound Within Sound' book, profiling 10 groundbreaking artists who revolutionised classical music, yet were denied recognition due to not 'fitting the mold' of the time. As well as her regular BBC Radio 3 'New Music Show' and 'Composer of the Week' radio shows. Kate has introduced us to so much exciting music, we're delighted to invite her to share this in person!

This event is inspired by listening bar culture, where deep listening is encouraged. Bring a cushion, tea is provided!
