Save Our CCA
Together with a range of contributors and @transmissionglasgow, Save our CCA launches an exhibition celebrating the 50-year history of the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) and The Third Eye Centre.
FROM THIRD EYE TO CCA brings together archival photographs, posters, film, music and ephemera loaned by people involved in the building throughout its 50 year history.
Join us on Friday 13 November for the opening, or drop in daily until 22 November. We will be announcing further events in the space in due course and invite you to share your own memories of the space.
This exhibition demonstrates that 350 Sauchiehall Street is a vital part of Glasgow’s arts infrastructure, and one the city cannot afford to lose. The campaign, along with thousands of petition signatories and supporters, continues to demand that the building remains in public ownership as a multi-arts venue.
*The official CCA archive is currently unavailable to access, but was acquired by Glasgow Life in September
