CinemaAttic presents: Man Marked for Death, Twenty Years Later (1984)

A rare (and free!) screening of Eduardo Coutinho's landmark documentary which, as it follows the fate of the Teixera family, tells a bigger story about political violence towards Brazil's peasant leagues.

The screening will begin with an introduction from Glasgow University’s Dr Tatiana Heise, whose research explores how cinema shapes collective memories of political violence and resistance in Latin America.
