Thu 10 Sep 18:30 - 20:00 2026 Hank Tree - Care I (Album Launch) | Celebrating the forthcoming release of Hank Tree's 2nd album, Care I, with a live performance surrounded by Eduard Bersudsky's kinetic sculptures in Sharmanka. The album was inspired by Hank Tree frontman Fergus MacDonald's 10 years of supporting people with profound learning difficulties and mental health problems while working in the care sector, where stories of resilience, isolation, recovery and hope are too often left unheard. The album receieved support from Creative Scotland and features production and performances from acclaimed composer and producer, Peter Broderick. Care I finds Hank Tree refining the atmospheric folk, experimental textures and emotional intensity that have become the project's hallmark. The performance will feature performing as a duo, with MacDonald on classical guitar, loops and vocals, and Clarissa Cheong (eagleowl, Broken Records) on double bass and vocals.
