Human Host / Raivo Sloan / Troutflies

We’ve a trio of acts, each with hot fresh releases to sink ye teeth into!

Human Host are coming in hot from Pennsylvania for their first UK tour. Their latest release ‘For an Unknown Sign’ (out on Entropic Records now!), a whirly polyphonic mix of glitchy keys and janky drum loops, toss that with playful toy-tones and synth-pop vocals.

Glasgow’s Raivo Sloan, is pulling up with darkly dense beats, swaying fantastically between ambience, thick layered vocals and driving dance motifs. ‘I Can’t Drive’ is Raivo’s first major release and a sublime addition to Glasgow’s premier purveyors of aural oddities GLARC.

York / Glasgow based troubadours Troutflies are joining us with their droning, dislocated, trudge-pop(?) brilliance, it sounds like sulking in runny honey. The young lads have just dropped ‘Wild Troutflies’ a delicious second album on Private Regcords.
