Coming together to raise funds for Communal Leisures printed editions ‘The Pits’ WORMHOOK is mostly a channelled project by Martin Steuck (founder of Uzganc choir). Dictaphone + phone recordings of vocalised first takes turn into devotionals. Prayers /laments on social/ spiritual commentary. SMACK WIZARDS are Glasgows DIY legends Jack, Claire, and Waldo on Guitar, Drums, and Bass. They have been bringing the hardcore jammage for 15 years and released countless albums, this is a rare outing for them. PENKNIFE is Isa Gordon, Paul Thomson and Loris S. Sarid. This triangulation serves up influences from Scottish trad, Ambient, Metal, Hyper - and less hyper-pop. They make compositions that are songs by form, yet sprinkled with sonic abstractions that feed listeners bizarre black pudding flavoured cotton candy ~ west coast gritty ditties and bastardised trad. RICHARD from The Modern Institute has skydived back to Glasgow to play us a DJ set pirated from Tepito Market , Mexico City’s sonidero (street soundsystem). SUPERSPREADERS made up of Moema from Lady Neptune and Laurie from L/ ect.. GENERATE SINGLE-MODE SONIC FIBERS WITH THE LATTER SENT TO DIFFERENT QUANTUM MEMORIES , IF THEY ARE ONLY ONE-WAY.
